‘Story of Yusuf’
It is not possible that Prophet Adam’s Ummah is unaware of the twelve sons of Prophet Yaqub. Among his all sons, Prophet Yusuf (A.S) and Yameen were the real brothers.
Prophet Yusuf was the most loving son by his father due to which all his stepbrothers used to envy him for his intelligence.
What Plot Was Placed Against Yusuf by his Brothers?
Prophet Yusuf’s brothers had so much hate against greatest Yusuf that they actually planned a brutal plot to kill him. It relates in the Quran:
“When Joseph's brother said about him: "He is more loved by our father than we are, and we are a group. Our father is in clear error. Let us kill Joseph or cast him to the ground, so that the face of your father will be toward you, and after him, you will be a community of the truthful." |Qur'an Surah 12 (Yusuf) Ayat 7-9.[17]
One of his brothers disagreed to the plot as killing would have been that extreme. When Prophet Yaqub found his son missing, he did not believe in his death. Yusuf was thrown into the well and later picked up by a caravan.
Allah Saved Yusuf from Al-Aziz’s wife ‘Zolayka’
Allah had a plane to saved Yusuf so he was sold to a rich man ‘Al-Aziz’ and was in the care of Aziz’s wife ‘Zolayka’. Al-Aziz’s wife used to constantly approach Yusuf as he grown up a beautiful man. One day, she tried to close herself with Prophet by a nasty means but Allah turned him off from this evil.
It was clearly a sign from Allah when a figure of Prophet Yaqub appeared and warned his son to not get involved in this evil.
Why Did Zolayka Put Blame on Yusuf?
When Zolayka did not succeed in a trap to draw Yusuf physically, she then put blame on Yusuf in front of his husband. Al-Aziz did not believe his wife and made her wife beg for forgiveness. After a time, Yusuf was set free from the slavery of Al-Aziz as he has been praying prison over Zolayka wants.
This story is the exemplary lesson which was narrated in several different languages to render a picture of ‘Yusuf and Zolayka’. Eventually, he was saved from Zolayka as people knew the nobility of Yusuf.
How Prophet Yusuf Was Released from Prison?
Prophet Yusuf was ordered by the Al-Aziz men to bring in front of him. When the king ‘Al-Aziz’ met him, he found him to be a trusted man. He then made him in charge of finance, food and ordered his officials to follow Yusuf’s commands as his own.
Prophet Yusuf was then honored to become the Aziz of Egypt and he instigated his new duties. His brothers one day arrived in Egypt and gave him the news of Prophet Yaqub’s life.
